Client Challenge

Black River Veterinary Hospital came to Kraus with the goal of crafting a unique and recognizable logo and brand identity that placed them as a luxury animal health care facility. Within the logo, the client wanted either a cat or dog to be featured. The overall branding needed to feel simple with a traditional farmhouse vibe, which matched the current style of their building. The client’s primary goal for the rebrand was to showcase that they are a reliable service in the area and will continue to grow for many years to come.

The Kraus Solution

To meet the client’s logo and brand goals, the Kraus team developed a multifaceted branding solution. For the logo design, we opted for a dog icon, subtly incorporating the letter “B” (for Black River) within the ear. A serif font was chosen to match the logo’s style and exude a sense of tradition and trustworthiness. Respecting the client’s existing brand preferences, we maintained the maroon color scheme which served as a nod to the color of their building. The combination of these elements resulted in a cohesive brand identity that effectively solidifies Black River Veterinary Hospital as a trusted and premier animal health care provider.
