Client Challenge

ROBEL North America needed a comprehensive product catalog tailored specifically to the North American rail market. The only available resource was the global ROBEL Group catalog, which was developed for a European audience and required significant localization to ensure technical accuracy and usability in the field.

Content had to be adapted for North American terminology, measurement standards, and real-world job site applications while maintaining the precision required for industrial railway equipment. At the same time, the company lacked strong product photography and needed a more cohesive digital presence.

The goal was to localize complex technical content while creating a seamless, consistent experience between the catalog and website that would better support customer navigation, product discovery, and sales efforts.

Kraus Marketing partnered with ROBEL North America to fully localize its machinery and tools catalog while creating a unified print-to-digital experience. Our team carefully adapted European source content for North American audiences by converting metric measurements, refining technical terminology, and improving overall readability for railway professionals working in the field.

Design and content teams collaborated to restructure the catalog for clarity and consistency, resulting in a 53-page publication that presents equipment specifications in a clear, accessible format. The same visual system—including typography, layout patterns, and product hierarchy—was then extended into the ROBEL North America website to create a seamless cross-platform experience.

To further strengthen both assets, Kraus Marketing produced original product photography that highlights the craftsmanship and engineering precision of ROBEL’s equipment. The result is a fully localized catalog, cohesive website experience, and enhanced visual library that supports sales while reinforcing ROBEL’s global reputation for railway innovation and being “Great on Track.”
