- Inspect internal linking. Internal linking is a great way to help search engines and people navigate through your site. In addition, it will also help increase PageRank. When inspecting the links, you should watch out for a few things. One of which is click depth, you should try to keep all of your links no further than 3 clicks away from the home page. You should also look out for and find broken and redirected links and try to fix them.
